What’s The Difference Between THC Oil, Hemp Oil, CBD Oil and Hash Oil

First, hemp and cannabis are not different plants per se. They are breeds or varieties of the same species: cannabis sativa. Nevertheless, the two varieties have several significant differences that range from how they grow and look to their uses and the chemical compounds in their extractions.
For instance, while hemp grows up to fifteen feet tall with long, massive stalks, cannabis grows outward with more leaves and buds and rarely exceeds five feet in height. The industrial hemp plants also seem to grow comfortably closely packed together while each cannabis plant requires some space to grow.

But the most significant difference, especially in regard to the oils, is in the chemical compounds they contain, which are also referred to as cannabinoids. Cannabis-derived oils are increasingly popular, and their uses and properties differ depending on what part of the plant they come from and how they are created. Here is a quick run-through of the differences in these oils and their uses.

THC Oil/Cannabis oil

Cannabis oil is made using the bud of the marijuana plant plus some other type of oil. Cannabis oil is high in THC which means that it has psychoactive properties. The most common uses of cannabis oil are to get high, as it is commonly used to cook “edibles.”Marijuana oil, cannabis oil or THC oil normally refer to the same thing. An oil made from (Dutch) marijuana with a high concentration of THC. The purpose is to become high, though the medicinal effect becomes more and more important. Cannabis oils generally have a strong aroma, and come in light or dark green and brown colors. Cannabis oils are potent sources of THC which means it will give you a good buzz, but also contains many cannabinoids with therapeutic properties. It is commonly used to treat cancer, depression, chronic pain, and anxiety and is also a powerful anti-inflammatory. Cannabis oil can be applied directly to the skin or consumed sublingually, although many also enjoy using it as an ingredient in cooking edibles. When consuming cannabis oil, keep in mind that its effects take a while. It’s always recommended to start with low doses then work your way through after waiting 30 minutes to an hour.

Hemp oil

In general with Hemp oil one refers to hemp seed oil.It has nearly indistinguishable levels of THC, which means that it does not give users the classic “high” sensation. The seeds of the fiber hemp are a byproduct of the production of hemp. Hemp oil is made by extracting oil by pressing hemp seeds. Hemp seeds are some of the most versatile and nutritious seeds known to man, hence offering tremendous health benefits if consumed. Avoid purchasing refined hemp oil, which is colorless and has no antioxidants or vitamins. Cold-pressed hemp oil is usually green in color. Unrefined cold-pressed hemp oil has serious medicinal and health benefits particularly Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids which are needed for optimum cellular health. It has no THC content and won’t get you high, although only trace amounts of it can be found in hemp oil. Hemp oil is commonly used as an ingredient in health and beauty products. It’s also used in industrial applications such as in the manufacture of plastics, fuel, lubricants, and paint. Hemp oil burns easily so it isn’t recommended for use in cooking. However, hemp oil can be added in dishes that don’t require cooking such as salads.

USAGES OF HEMP OIL:

CBD Oil

CBD oil is cannabis oil that has a significant content of cannabidiol. It is made from the flowers, leaves and stalks of hemp and not from its seeds like hemp oil. CBD oil has become very popular in the medical marijuana industry, because it can be helpful in the treatment of various conditions without the typical intoxicating effects of marijuana use. Apart from CBD, we have oils that also contain the cannabinoids CBDA, CBC, CBGA, CBD, CBCA. This oil is often diluted with olive oil or hemp seed oil to improve the dosage and taste. CBD oil is the legal health supplement which provides all the health benefits of consuming cannabis in a concentrated form by extracting only the cannabidoids responsible for those biological effects – but without the mind-altering effects.

Hash Oil

Hash oil is known to be much more potent because it’s a concentrated form of cannabis oil. Just by taking an extremely small amount of hash oil will get you buzzed AF because hash oil contains higher amounts of THC. This means it can get users very high very fast, which may not be a good idea for novice marijuana users. Hash oil is also known as honey oil because of its golden color. Like cannabis oil, it also has medicinal uses for relieving pain, uplifting your mood, and reducing stress. It can be used to make balms or edibles but hash oil can also be smoked, vaped, or dabbed. Hash oils can be applied topically to provide relief from sore muscles and is also popularly used by patients who are suffering from serious, life-threatening conditions thanks to its medicinal value. Hash oil is effective in helping to improve moods as well as stress and pain relief.
